Students enrolled in the class will get plenty of 1:1 feedback from the instructor during the live model session. Live nude model poses the same long pose for a series of 3 consecutive Wednesday afternoons from 1-4pm. September-May. Mix of gender, races and ages. Artists are responsible to bring own easel, drawing horse or sculpture stand, which can be stored on site if artist is a regular. To sign up for the uninstructed sessions, we utilize an online system called SignUpGenius. The system allows artists to sign up for one or more of the sessions in a given series. Drop-in figure drawing in the classroom at the back of the store. Tables, chairs, some boards, horses and easels are available. Cost depends on number in attendance; $10-30 sliding scale (1/2 price for students).
• 1st and 3rd Saturdays 3:30-6:30pm. Extremely Short Narrative Gestures. Minimally clothed, based on improv topics.
• Sundays 10:30am-1:30pm. Nude poses range from 2-20 minutes. Double model pose every first Sunday in March, June, September, December for $20-60 sliding scale (1/2 price for students). Double model poses range from 5-60 minutes. We aim to include models of all gender, size, ethnicity, etc.
Parking is provided up to 2 free hours in the lot across the street by using the kiosk and entering the code: 2021 and placing the printed ticket on their dashboard. Any parking beyond the free 2 hour period must be paid or moved to street parking. A&C is not responsible for any parking tickets incurred while in the store.
