Drawing from Life. This class focuses on the fundamental principles of drawing using media such as charcoal and pencil. Drawings will be based on in-class observations. The class also provides an overview of the drawing process as a form of visual thinking in relation to rendering. Students will draw from direct observation and create still life, perspective, and portrait/figure drawings.

• Ongoing figure drawing sessions held twice weekly, Monday and Thursday evenings 6:30-9:30pm. Both sessions have a half hour of 5 minute warm-up poses. Sessions intended for professional and amateur artist and students. Monday sessions are hour-long poses; Thursday sessions are 20-minute poses. Charge for drawers is $3 per hour to cover model fee. Atmosphere is casual with music playing.
• Costumed Figure Art Sessions: Costumed model to draw, paint, sculpt, photograph or whatever art process you choose. Every other Saturday morning 9:30am-12:30pm.
