Communication Arts Building "B" Room 368. This is an excellent
opportunity to draw or paint from a model in our beautiful, spacious
drawing studio. Come brush up on your skills, meet new friends,
and spend an enjoyable afternoon under our vaulted ceilings. Bring
your own drawing or painting supplies. Model begins with 5-10 minutes
of quick (1-2 minute) gestures, followed by 20-minute and longer
poses, depending on participant input. Participants chip in to pay
for the model, generally between $6 and $15 depending on how many
artists attend.

We have open studio figure drawing every second and fourth Sunday
of the month at 3pm - 6pm. The second Sundays are nude figure modeling
(strictly +18 years of age) and the fourth Sundays are costumed
modeling. The model fee is $6 at the door. Poses start with 1 minute
gestures and progress to 20 min poses toward the end. Pose lengths
subject to attendee input. Located in a century old craftsmen home
turned art gallery, you can expect nice atmosphere and great music.
Bring your own art supplies, easels included. No smelly mediums,

We are a group artists that meet at the North Park Recreation Center
every Thursday from 10am to 1pm and Saturday from 9:15am to 12:15pm
to practice figure drawing with a nude model. No photography of
the model is allowed. You must be 18 years of age or older. We provide
chairs and tables, but you must bring your own art supplies. We
start with 2 minutes gestures, then 5 minute poses, a 10 minute
pose, then followed by 20 minutes poses until the end. The last
Thursday and Saturday of every month is one long pose after the
gestures.

This workshop will meet regularly on Sundays at 9:00am to 2:00pm
at LCAD main campus in studio 8. The workshop will be generally
uninstructed but you can feel free to ask for help from the host.
It will be long pose, nude or costume, with the gender of the models
varying. ALL mediums are welcome. The workshop has plenty of horses,
easels and taborets. We will also have music, refreshments and some
less than healthy snacks to keep the energy up while trying to carry
out our vision. $15 per session. Hope to see you all soon for a
relaxed morning of art.
